Seventh LP from Portugal. The Man [Download]
Portland, Oregon’s Portugal. The Man release their 7th studio album next week. Evil Friends was produced by Danger Mouse, although the sum of their work sounds like wonted Portugal. The Man with just a soupcon of Danger Mouse.

New LP from The National // Trouble Will Find Me
I haven’t been a true follower of The National from the get-go. Maybe I didn’t “get” their sound in the past.
Trouble Will Find Me, the 6th studio album from the Brooklyn based group amazed me thoroughly. Some of the better song-writing that I’ve heard in a long time.
Listen to a few tracks from Trouble Will Find Me, out May 21 on 4AD, after the jump.
And don’t pass over the last and mirific slow love song “Hard To Find.”
