Even though Dave Matthews Band’s debuted “If Only” two nights before in Ohio, the version linked below is the “second time played” version in Mansfield, Mass. The band, Dave in particular, seemed to get a little overzealous on the vocals (maybe because it was the first time they were playing it live?). Regardless, I think this version will reflect the final product on the New Album more aptly.
Out of the four new tracks on the album (Gaucho, Mercy, Sweet, If Only), “If Only” has been my favorite thus far – along with “Mercy.”
