Awesome New Song from Trophy Wife’s upcoming EP Bruxism
When I say Awesome, I really mean it. ”Canopy Shade” is welcomed surprise from Trophy Wife. They have boosted their sound to a whole different level with this track. Hopefully the rest of the EP will sound similar. I fell in love with these guys from their soft and sensual Microlite. The band drafted in a different producer for each track on the EP, working with Ewan Pearson, Yannis (Foals), Yames Yuill and Andrew Halford. A slice of sharp electro, this track follows in a similar vein as fellow Oxonians Foals’ earlier work, with energetic bleeps and infectious choruses swamping the listener in the most delicious manner.
Produced by one of the trio’s longtime musical idols, Plaid, “Canopy Shade” is set to be a hit in indie discos the world over. “Canopy Shade” is featured on the forthcoming EP, Bruxism, available October 17 on Blessing Force. [via]
