Yeasayer debuted one of their new songs “Devil and the Deed” on Conan a few nights ago (see performance below). Although they’re still on tour promoting Odd Blood, you can tell they want to add some more songs to their repertoire. The song is led by Anand Wilder, and is most comparable to their hit “O.N.E” – in the sense that the musical organization appears to be a bit disjointed on first listen. With repeated listens, one can finally wrap their head around the song, and find that complex groove that characterizes Yeasayer‘s music.
I made a mp3 webrip of the Conan video below for all y’all, and posted the other two new songs (“Henrietta” and another untitled song) from their show after the Conan show.
Thanks to jj obrien for the latter two pulls – the quality is pretty good for being recorded off of an iPhone.

I'm right there with you about the song quality, I rather have something than nothing at all, ya know? Especially from Yeasayer. I just wanted to share their new stuff regardless of the quality. Ill be clutching for a better quality fix untill then, hah. Cheers!
